The HELP Rundown

The HELP Rundown

Phase I

0.  HELP 0 – DISCUSSION (TWO-WAY COMM HELP)

PAB 121 – 1 OCT 57 – RUDIMENTS AND GOALS [Tech Vol IV p161]
“…The best way of clearing the auditor we know is…”

[1]  COULD I HELP YOU? – HOW?
[2]  COULD YOU HELP ME? – HOW?
[3]  COULD I HELP ANYBODY ELSE? – HOW?
[4]  COULD YOU HELP ANYBODY ELSE? – HOW?
[5]  DO OTHER PEOPLE EVER HELP OTHER PEOPLE?
[6]  DO WOMEN EVER HELP WOMEN?
[7]  DO MEN EVER HELP MEN?
[8]  DO MEN EVER HELP WOMEN?
[9]  DO WOMEN EVER HELP MEN?

PAB 133 – 1 APR 58 – PROCEDURE CCH [Tech Vol IV p316]
“This is the best way of clearing the auditor and making the fact that they can be helped to help themselves clear to them… Of course, it is necessary to see that the preclear does not give machine answers and that he is fairly sure that this can be done.  Two-way communication here is important and a lot of it could be used.”

[SG – the above questions are only a guideline to accomplishing two-way communication on the subject of Help.  Run this informal, with natural, listen-style auditing routine, whether in session on the meter, or out in the coffeeshop – the point is to get the client discussing Help in all its forms, to open up the case]

1.  TWO-WAY HELP (CLEARING THE AUDITOR)
(HCOB 25 AUG 60 – POWERFUL PRESESSION ADDITIONS)
    (a) HOW COULD I HELP YOU?
    (b) HOW COULD YOU HELP ME?

[SG – a,b,a,b,a,b… alternated to EP]
[SG – return to this step anytime there has been: a long break in processing; upset between auditor and client of any kind; every session for husband-wife co-audit team]

2.  PRESESSION PROCESSES

[SG – use at least one or two sets (2A and 2B recommended as a minimum) of HCCI (Help-Control-Communication-Interest) to get the auditing started; return to continue as needed and/or as desired (such as when a thorough approach is desired and the client wants to experience all possible processes) – note that a client who has not had Objectives processing and does not ordinarily do outside work or work with physical objects such as in building construction, will need more of the subjective control processes than the client who has a stronger connection to his/her objective environment.  Note that these processes are not strictly packaged and can be interchanged and adapted as needed.  DO AS MANY OF THESE HCCI CYCLES AS YOU WANT!]

    3-O (OPTIONAL) “EXCHANGE BY DYNAMICS”
[SG – this is the perfect point to educate your client about the dynamics, and to do Exchange by Dynamics as an action in session, however since traditionally this was labeled an ‘Ethics’ action, do not do this if     your client: 1) has done this before; 2) expresses unwillingness for any reason, including that it is an ‘ethics’ action he/she feels they don’t need or want to do]
[SG – suggestion – take 2 full pages of 8 1/2 x 14 paper and lay them side-by-side and run tape down through the middle – the other side will become the “large sheet of paper’ that you can fold back over the taped     line, to fit inside the pc folder neatly]
